Ville Platte woman charged with threatening child's teacher, asst. superintendent
VILLE PLATTE, La. (KLFY) -- A Ville Platte woman has been arrested and charged with assault after threatening her child's teacher and a school district official, authorities said.
Vashayla Skinner, 34, of Ville Platte is charged with two counts of assault on a school teacher.
The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Department received a complaint Nov. 6 from the assistant superintendent with the Evangeline Parish School Board that he and a teacher had been threatened by a parent.
Officials said an internal investigation was conducted by school board officials due to complaints made against a teacher. After the internal investigation was concluded, Skinner was not happy with the results and allegedly threatened to beat up the teacher and the assistant superintendent.
Skinner's bond was set at $1,500.
