Prince William’s daughter Charlotte has a wide range of hobbies, with mum Princess Kate, 42, revealing that she loves everything from gymnastics and piano playing, to tennis and horse riding.

But there is one talent that she reportedly adores – ballet.

It’s been reported that the Princess had been taking weekly private ballet lessons at a dance school in south London

Her proud mum Kate, who this year has been battling cancer, is also known to have taken her daughter to watch The Nutcracker at the Royal Opera House in central London.

Both Kate and Prince William, also 42, have previously talked about Charlotte’s love of the sport, with Kate confirming that her little girl “loves” dance when talking to English National Ballet director Tamara Rojo in 2017.

Her dad William echoed her comments when he spoke to former Maltese president Joseph Muscat back in 2018.

And during a visit to a Yorkshire textile mill, the Princess of Wales chatted about her daughter’s love for ballet and tap dancing.

Speaking to a seven-year-old girl named Emily, Kate shared: “My daughter Charlotte likes dancing, she loves ballet and tap. Keep up the dancing.”

Not only this, but Phil Dampier told HELLO! that the young Princess “was enthralled when taken on trips to the Strictly Come Dancing studios with her mum, and on another occasion in 2023 to see Swan Lake at the London Coliseum”.

Charlotte’s love of ballet is something that the late Princess Diana would no doubt be happy about – as she adored it too.

Diana aspired to be a professional ballerina in her younger years and went on to become patron of the English National Ballet.

She enjoyed dancing so much that she even put on a surprise display at London’s Royal Opera House.
