TRADE ALERT – VERNON VIPERS TRADE GOALTENDER COLIN REAY TO PRINCE GEORGE SPRUCE KINGS

Vernon, BC:  The Vernon Vipers would like to announce that they have traded goaltender Colin Reay to the Prince George Spruce Kings in exchange for future considerations.

Reay, who joined the Vipers during the 2022-2023 season, appeared in 31 games over the course of a season and a half. Known for his dedication and leadership on and off the ice, Colin has been a valuable member of the team.

“It’s never easy to move a player with Colin’s character,” said Vipers Head Coach Lukas Lomicky. “But we believe this trade will give him an opportunity to play more consistently and continue his development toward his ultimate goal of playing at higher levels.”

The Vernon Vipers organization would like to sincerely thank Colin for his contributions to the team and the community. We wish him all the best as he continues his hockey journey with the Prince George Spruce Kings.
