Albany man arrested on felony meth charges
WATERVLIET, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Watervliet Police reported the arrest of an Albany man following a traffic stop last week. Nashae McCall, 33, is facing multiple felony drug charges.
On November 26 around 7 p.m., police pulled over a car with a reportedly suspended registration near 13th Street and Third Avenue. While speaking with the driver, identified as McCall, officers learned that he was driving with a suspended New York State non-driver ID card.
During the ensuing investigation, police allegedly found over one and a half ounces of pre-packaged meth pills and nearly three-quarters of an ounce of crack cocaine in McCall's car. McCall was taken into custody at the scene and now faces the following charges:
- Third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
- Third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance - intent to sell
- Third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance - methamphetamine
McCall was released with an appearance ticket scheduled for a later date at Watervliet City Court.
