Another hard freeze is expected tonight, with temperatures dropping into the mid 10s. North winds will gust up to 20 mph. Clouds will gradually decrease over northeast Kansas, leading to a mostly sunny day on Tuesday.
Tuesday will see a quick warm-up, with temperatures reaching the lower 40s by the afternoon and the lower 50s by Wednesday. These temperatures will be slightly above average for early December. More cold air will follow, bringing temperatures back to the low 30s by Thursday. This week will see fluctuating temperatures.
Rain chances remain minimal throughout the week. By the weekend, temperatures are expected to rise into the mid 50s, providing a brief break from the winter cold.
