Fiorentina’s Bove rushed to hospital after collapsing against Inter Milan
December 2 – Fiorentina midfielder Edoardo Bove is in intensive care in hospital after collapsing on the pitch during his side’s Serie A match against Inter Milan on Sunday.
Bove went down unchallenged after 16 minutes and was quickly transported to hospital with the game quickly abandoned.
Several players from both sides were seen crying in harrowing scenes.
Fiorentina released a statement detailing how Bove was “currently under pharmacological sedation and hospitalised in intensive care”.
