When will it snow next in NYC?
NEW YORK (PIX11) – Does this cold weather make you think – when will it snow in New York City next?
A cold blue was declared in the Big Apple Sunday night into Monday morning as temperatures dropped to below freezing. That allows those who are unhoused or just seeking shelter to go to any shelter or drop-in center around the city without being denied entry.
But when will it snow in New York City?
The first snow of the season fell in the Big Apple on Nov. 22. The Hudson Valley and New Jersey saw schools close or delay openings as a result, with some accumulations being up to 8 inches.
There is a chance for wet snow this Wednesday into Thursday, according to PIX11 meteorologists. Accumulations are expected to be next to nothing, so not enough to make snowmen or sled.
Rain will mix with what little snow we're expected to see. No other storms are anticipated within the next week.
