Cold start to the week, warming up by midweek
What We’re Tracking
- Cold start to the week
- Warming up by midweek
- Dry conditions
Cold air continues to filter into northeast Kansas. Temperatures this morning are in the upper teens and lower 20s with feels-like temperatures in the single digits in some spots. The sky remains partly cloudy.
There will not be much of a rebound this afternoon with high temperatures struggling to get above freezing. Not only will we see cold conditions, but it'll also be paired with a breezy north wind gusting up to 25 mph. This'll keep wind chills in the teens and 20s for today.
However, as we move into the rest of the workweek, temperatures will gradually warm back up. Potentially even above average with highs in the lower to middle 50s by Wednesday. Rain chances remain slim to none throughout the upcoming week.
