Manipur CM confirms verification of list of returnees sent back from Assam

Manipur chief minister N Biren Singh received a verified list of people sent back from Assam. Around 500 people from the Kuki community were evicted. Some have settled in Karbi Anglong but must vacate. Ethnic violence in Manipur displaced over 59,000 people. Recent violence in Jiribam district resulted in deaths and injuries.
