Massive triple-A 2024 release gets its price slashed by 95% as gamers grab it for pennies
IT’S natural that as time goes on video games get cheaper, particularly with sales and discounts.
Within the first year of release, we often see video games get discounts of up to 30% in order to entice new customers after launch.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is about what the title suggests[/caption] There are four different members of the squad that you can play as[/caption] As well as the Joker if you purchase the Deluxe Edition or DLC[/caption]However, it is rare for discounts to go deeper than this until at least a year or two after launch.
That’s why it’s particularly shocking that one of the most expensive games of 2024 has already gone on sale for 95% off.
That means it’s selling for just £2.99 / $3.29 for the standard edition or £4.49 / $4.99 for the deluxe edition with the DLC included on Steam.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League released to mixed reviews, with some popular aspects and quite a few pain points that fans didn’t like.
People generally enjoyed the humour in the dialogue and the take on the characters, but weren’t big fans of the story overall.
The gameplay also had mixed reviews as people enjoyed the fast-paced combos and synergy, but hated the live-service elements.
To make matters worse, Suicide Squad launched in February when multiple live-service games launched.
Suicide Squad, Skull & Bones, Foamstars and Helldivers 2 were all released in the same month, with only Helldivers 2 gaining popularity.
While people were hesitant to try it out at full price, they are giving it a go now it’s so cheap.
You can only pick up this deal until Wednesday, December 4, 2024, so you will have to hurry if you want to try it out.
Suicide Mission
Rocksteady is a studio known for Batman games, developing the critically acclaimed Batman: Arkham series.
However, these are single-player action-adventure games, compared to Suicide Squad’s multiplayer, live-service model.
It’s unclear why Rocksteady chose such a drastically different direction, but it has been speculated that it was a decision by the publisher.
Suicide Squad still has some of the hallmarks of Rocksteady’s creative genius, and now it certainly feels worth the cost.
