Trolls bombarded me for having a ‘rug’ on my kitchen counter – but they’re wrong, it’s a beautiful runner
SHE proudly showed off her kitchen setup, complete with a “runner” on her kitchen counter.
However, Carly found herself bombarded with message from trolls when she did, all of whom argued that the runner was actually a rug.
“Why have you got a rug on the table?” one asked.
Carly responded in another TikTok video, as she said: “Have I? Let’s go and have a look.”
She then turned the camera to show her kitchen island, on top of which was a furry piece of material.
“That? That’s rabbit fur, my love. It’s not a rug. What are you talking about?
“I think it looks beautiful on there!”
People in the comments were quick to weigh in, with many of them once again insisting that Carly had mistaken the runner for a rug.
“It’s 100% a rug!” one commented.
“It is a rug haha,” another laughed.
“A chair, ok, but the table is insane – hope this helps,” a third added.
“I was waiting to see a table runner, but no, it is in fact a rug,” someone else said.
“…is it from the world’s biggest rabbit???” another wondered.
“It’s a £20 B&M rug,” someone else wrote.
“It is a rug darling,” another commented.
As someone else said: “Oh babe, it’s a rug – I have one too!”
While another wrote: “As someone who works in a furniture/ homeward store and sells those exact rugs, it’s a rug!”
However, others defended Carly, insisting it “looks beautiful”.
