I couldn’t afford a Dyson Airwrap so my mum bought me the Aldi dupe – the curls are so big and bouncy, it’s incredible
THE real deal would set you back almost £500.
But for those who haven’t got the cash to splash out on a Dyson Airwrap, there are new dupes hitting stores on an almost weekly basis.
One such dupe was recently released by Aldi, and was so popular that it quickly sold out in stores around the UK.
Catrina was one of the shoppers desperate to get her hands on one of the £49.99 products, and hit multiple Aldis in a bid to nab one.
However, she emerged unsuccessful, and couldn’t hide her disappointment, before she got home and discovered her mum had secretly managed to get her one.
Catrina then tested out the dupe for the first time on camera, and later admitted she was “absolutely obsessed” with the results.
“I have just used my Aldi Dyson for the first time and I can’t believe how good it looks!” Catrina gushed in a video on her TikTok page.
“I am still getting used to using it though as I’ve never used one before, I’ve not used the Dyson or anything.”
After doing her hair, Catrina headed into the kitchen to show the results to her mum, who had found the dupe while her daughter worked.
“So I feel like it would only be right to get her reaction and show you guys. I’m so excited to show her!” Catrina laughed.
Walking into the kitchen, Catrina said; “So here’s the Dyson!”
Her mum quickly put her glasses on, and declared the finished look was “amazing”.
She also asked Catrina to do her hair too, to which she obliged and documented in another video.
People were quick to comment on the TikTok, with one writing: “Stunning!! Sabrina Carpenter vibes.”
“Looks incredible!” another added.
“You are a very beautiful girl and your Mumma is sooo cute.
“I have had the shark 6 months and have never been able to do as good a look as this.
“Maybe I should get this one!”
