$3.4 million lottery ticket sold in Manhattan
MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) – One lucky New York City lottery player won big over the weekend.
A jackpot-winning ticket worth $3.4 million was sold at a store on 57th Street and Second Avenue on Saturday, according to the New York Lottery.
The next drawing is on Wednesday, but the jackpot is now only $2 million large after Saturday’s win. The odds of winning the top prize are low – only one in every 45 million players will win big.
The last time the LOTTO was won was in October when someone playing in Manhattan bought a ticket worth $16.3 million.
Other New York lottery games have bigger jackpots, like a $224 million Powerball prize and a $541 million Mega Millions jackpot. The next drawing for Mega Millions is on Tuesday.
