Jharkhand: Bokaro canal undergoes Rs 4.70 crore repair work, water supply suspended till December 6

Tenughat-Bokaro canal water supply has been suspended for repairs, expected to complete by December 6. This 34-kilometre canal supports Bokaro Steel Limited and its Township. Rural areas may face temporary water disruptions. BSL has sufficient reserves to mitigate major shortages. Water supply to the township and plant will continue normally, though production levels may slightly reduce.
