Woman chief officer slapped in Gujarat's Umreth, 5 booked

The chief officer of Umreth Nagarpalika in Anand district, Bharti Somani, and her team were attacked during an anti-encroachment drive. Somani was slapped, and the team members were assaulted while removing illegal hoardings. Five accused have been booked on charges of assault, rioting, and intimidation. Police are in the process of arresting the suspects.
