Amid Musk-India ties: Satcom players may get easier launch

The government is considering relaxing security conditions for satellite communication licences to align with global practices. This could allow Starlink and Amazon Kuiper to offer telecommunication services in India using satellites. Discussions with law enforcement and telecom officers have taken place, and a meeting with satcom players is expected soon.
