Glens Falls Symphony to celebrate holiday season
GLENS FALLS, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- The Glens Falls Symphony is gearing up for the holiday season with the traditional Holiday Pops show. Beyond the symphony, Saratoga Springs Youth Ballet will perform selections from "The Nutcracker," accompanied by choral singers from South Glens Falls, Warrensburg, and other Capital Region high schools.
Holiday Pops is Sunday, December 8, at 4 p.m. in the Glens Falls High School Auditorium. Tickets range from $29 to $43 for adults and $12 for children and can be purchased online through the Glens Falls Symphony's website.
A new style of ticket is available for the show for families of four with two kids under 18. The Holiday Family Four-Pack provides admission for two adults and two children for $90.
The show's program includes "Feliz Navidad" by Jose Feliciano, "A Most Wonderful Christmas" by Robert Sheldon, and many more. Glens Falls Symphony Music Director Charles Peltz, Warrensburg High School Choir Director Kristen Willman, and South Glens Falls High School Chorus Director Betsy Stambach-Fuller will direct the show.
