1 dead, 2 injured in Clackamas County head-on crash
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- One driver is dead and two others are injured after a head-on crash on a Clackamas County highway near Mulino on Friday morning, according to police.
Just before 7 a.m., Oregon State Police troopers responded to the area of HWY 213 near milepost 10 on reports of a crash involving two vehicles.
On arrival, officials say they found out a Ford Focus had been in the southbound lane when the driver lost control while rounding a curve and entered the northbound lanes. The Focus then hit a Subaru in the northbound lane head-on.
The driver of Focus, 23-year-old Lyndsey Mohler, was dead at the scene, authorities said.
The Subaru's driver, 28-year-old Shelby Edwards, as well as the passenger were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No further information has been released at this time.
