Karnataka to crack down on illegal tuition centres

The department of school education and literacy in Bengaluru is set to crack down on illegal tuition centres following complaints of students skipping school for tutorials. Primarily in northern districts, these unregistered centres conduct classes for admissions to popular government residential schools. The department instructed deputy directors to identify and report such centres, enforcing the Education Act.
