Celebrating the Hmong New Year

The celebration is a time to give thanks to ancestors for the past year and welcome the new beginnings of the year that lies ahead. The St. Paul RiverCentre event included traditional dances, a Miss Hmong Minnesota pageant and a singing competition. The two-day celebration ends Sunday.
