Small Business Saturday shopping events in NYC

0

NEW YORK (PIX11) – If you didn’t find everything you were looking for on Black Friday, you’ll have another chance on Small Business Saturday.

The annual shopping event, which sits between Black Friday and Cyber Monday, offers opportunities to find unique gifts and highlights the role small businesses play in building community.

There are almost 220,000 diverse small businesses in New York City, half of which are immigrant-owned, according to Assemblymember Jenifer Rajkumar.

To help encourage New Yorkers to shop small, the city launched an online map “Shop Your City,” which lists and categorizes diverse businesses in each borough.

Along with the map, here are some small business holiday markets that are worth checking out on Saturday.
