Syria war monitor says rebels control 'most of' Aleppo city

Jihadist rebels, led by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), have taken control of most of Aleppo city, including government centers and prisons, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. Russian warplanes also launched airstrikes on Aleppo for the first time since 2016.
