ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- Now that Thanksgiving is over, those who celebrate Christmas may be looking for a place to cut down their own Christmas tree. Some may be looking to get a pre-cut tree or even a wreath to place on their door.

Many Christmas tree farms open after Thanksgiving on Black Friday, Nov. 29. Here is where you can cut down or buy a pre-cut Christmas tree around the Capital Region and the Hudson Valley.

On Thursday, the farm posted on Facebook that a snowstorm had covered all trees, both cut-your-own and pre-cut trees. "If you plan to cut your own understand there will be deep snow to cut and drag through. We will not be able to run our wagon rides for Friday and will post again tomorrow (Friday) if we’re able to later this weekend," the post said. "Our cafe and gift shop will still be open like normal. We will still have pre-cut trees available and will be bringing more in but unfortunately at a slower pace."
