Clouds increase tonight with brief snow showers mainly to eastern counties on Saturday
What We’re Tracking
- Snow flurries Saturday
- Cold weekend ahead
- Warming up next week
Tonight will be another clear and cold night ahead. Temperatures will fall into the mid 20s once again. Winds will remain light and come from the east, shifting to a light northerly breeze by Saturday afternoon.
Cloud cover will start to increase later this evening before taking over early Saturday. A quick-passing system could bring a few snow showers to the area tomorrow. Right now, the best chance for that will over our eastern counties. The snow will be light, looking upwards to one inch at most.
By the afternoon, clouds look to clear out and we'll hold on to some sunshine for the rest of the weekend. Temperatures will continue to stay in the 30s for both Saturday and Sunday.
Monday will be another cold and dry day. However, as we move into the rest of the workweek, temperatures will gradually warm back up. Potentially even above average with highs in the lower to middle 50s by Wednesday. Rain chances remain slim to none throughout the upcoming week.
