A NEPO baby with a super famous sports star dad was spotted on the red carpet at the 2024 GQ Men of the Year Awards in Berlin.
The 25-year-old model looked amazing as he posed for the cameras. But can you guess who his famous father is?
Elias Balthasar is the son of former tennis champion Boris Becker.
Boris’s wife Barbara asked for a separation a year after Elias was born.
Later, she won custody of Elias and his brother Noah and it was reported that Boris had been unfaithful during her pregnancy.
In his autobiography, Life Is Not A Game, Boris revealed more detail about his fling with Russian waitress Angela Ermakova.
He wrote: “I was in this family drama because there is no doubt that I was the “expletive” in the whole affair. I had betrayed my pregnant wife”
Speaking about his parents split to Tatler, Elias revealed: “You understand that people have their own emotions and own needs, and sometimes people don’t fulfil those needs any more. They probably did it for the better.”
Boris and Barbara remain on good terms and Elias has said that he had a good childhood.
On visiting Wimbledon Elias said: ‘It’s nice to come back to the place that was his playground, at a time when he spent a lot of time winning. Like, damn, this is heritage for my family. It’s kinda cool.’
Elias also has a successful career and has stepped into the spotlight more than once.
He signed with a modelling agency at the age of 18 and was booked for his first job with Dolce & Gabbana at Milan Fashion Week.
He’s since posed for shoots in Tatler and InStyle, and walked the runway at various fashion shows.
He’s a photographer, filmmaker, and actor, too. ‘I don’t really have any limitations on what I can do, I don’t go by titles or labels,’ he says.
He further explained that he likes to express himself in any way he can.
Boris is known as one of the greatest tennis players of all time and he was the youngest ever winner of the gentlemen’s singles Championships.
He won six grand slams in total including Wimbledon titles.
Recently, Boris was devastated when his mother, 89, was found dead just a day before his birthday.
The sports star’s lawyer, revealed the news by saying: “I can confirm the death of Elvira Becker. Boris Becker is in deep mourning.”
Elvira played a huge part in her son’s career, helping to make him into a tennis superstar and worked extremely hard to ensure he could focus on his beloved tennis.
