SHARPEI-BALLERINA-BOUDOIR

SHARPEI-BALLERINA-BOUDOIR is a minimalist series of furniture by the Paris-based design practice, SENIMO. Crafted by SENIMO’s founder, the designer and carpenter, Fabien Colomines, the collection consists of three main pieces: SHARPEI, BALLERINA, and BOUDOIR. 

Simple in form, the series is characterized by a repetition of curved shapes, carefully arranged to create visually balanced pieces of furniture. As a result, these minimalist designs allow for experimentation in color — with SHARPEI, BALLERINA, and BOUDOIR taking on nostalgic shades of green, orange, and brown — reminiscent of a 1970s-style palette.

Each piece within the collection is multi-functional. SHARPEI and BALLERINA serve as stools that double as side tables, thanks to the elegant glass trays that accompany the pieces. Meanwhile, the taller BOUDOIR piece also offers various functions, with the ability to be utilized as a console, pedestal, or side table.

Handmade in Paris from wood and finished with a glossy lacquer, each piece is a fusion of playful aesthetics and functionality, proving to be an exciting debut for Colomines and his practice.
