ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Happy Black Friday! Meteorologist Matt Mackie says it is a cool and quiet day with possible flurries in the afternoon and temperatures peaking in the mid-to-high 30s.

The 77th annual Troy Turkey Trot, one of the oldest races in the country, has come and gone, and the winners of the Thanksgiving Day tradition are in. The rainy weather didn’t stop over 7,000 people from attending to take part in the annual event.
2. Stewart’s Shops kicks off 2024 Holiday Match campaign
Stewart’s Shops started its holiday match program on Thursday.
3. Guilderland PD looking to identify suspect
Guilderland police are asking for the public’s help to find the suspect in connection with an attempted burglary. The incident took place on Oct. 1 at the Valero on Carman Road.
4. Puppy injured in Windham plane crash undergoes surgery
The 4-month-old puppy hurt in a plane crash in Greene County has completed its surgeries at a Connecticut veterinary hospital. The medical team at Pieper Veterinary in Middletown said the lab mix named Whiskey has a long journey to recovery but is a miracle.
5. Mechanicville Police investigate officer-involved crash
Mechanicville Police are investigating a car crash that left an officer with minor injuries. It happened on South Central Avenue at about 8:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
