Tom Brady Reveals Fascinating Patriots Detail About Randy Moss

Tom Brady was in the spotlight for this first Thanksgiving game broadcast and offered a little nugget for New England Patriots fans.

The FOX broadcast looked back on iconic Thanksgiving Day performances and highlighted Randy Moss’ legendary three-touchdown, 163-yard game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Brady reflected on his former teammate’s career and revealed that after New England acquired Moss, he worked for four months to be able to throw seven yards further. How did that process exactly work? Well, the broadcast quickly brushed that fascinating detail aside for the dreadful New York Giants-Dallas Cowboys matchup.

Kevin Burkhardt did later follow up with Brady on the Moss anecdote, but the Patriots Hall of Famer didn’t add too much detail about what he did that enabled him to throw the ball further. Instead, he got a little goofy and admitted he reverted to “eff it, Randy’s down there somewhere” mode. Brady did compliment Moss when he called the Hall of Fame wide receiver a “savant” and a “football genius.”

There weren’t too many details, but Brady working to add more air yards to his throws will be another note for fans to add to the future Hall of Fame quarterback’s legacy.
