GAIL signs long-term charter contract with K-Line for LNG ship

GAIL has signed a long-term charter agreement with Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha for a new LNG ship to be operational in 2027. The ship will be built by Samsung Heavy Industries and will have a tank capacity of 1,74,000 cubic metres. This new vessel will join GAIL's existing fleet to transport liquefied natural gas.
