VIRGIN BET are standing up for fans amid the soaring costs of Premier League season tickets with their “A Grand Isn’t Grand” campaign.
With prices at some clubs now exceeding £1,000, the campaign – in partnership with the Sport Social Podcast Network – will award £1,000 to eight lucky season ticket holders through a competition based on personal stories submitted by fans.

The campaign comes amid growing frustration among fans about the rising cost of supporting their teams in person, with eight of the 20 Premier League teams this season raising their season tickets prices above £1,000.
As ticket prices continue to climb, many are voicing concerns over the affordability and accessibility of live football.
Dominic Vye, Marketing Director at Virgin Bet, said: “At Virgin Bet, we believe that ‘A Grand Isn’t Grand’ when it comes to the cost of being a football fan.
“We are committed to making sport accessible for all, and with rising season ticket prices, this campaign is our way of supporting fans who help make the sport so special.
“This campaign is beyond just a refund; this is about celebrating the role fans play in the game and supporting their continued access to the sport they love.”
Submissions will be accepted until Friday 22nd December, via their competition page. Submissions will be reviewed the week commencing 13th January, with winners notified the week commencing the 27th January.
