Fair price of vehicles to be scrapped will be decided by market forces, no govt intervention: Nitin Gadkari
In a written reply to the Lok Sabha, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, clarified that the government will not intervene in determining the fair price for scrapping vehicles. The price will be decided by market forces based on the vehicle's condition. The Reserve Vehicle Scrapping Facility (RVSF) units, established as private entities, are responsible for assessing and setting the price.
