Chennai businessman detained at Coimbatore airport for carrying pistol

A Chennai businessman, N Sakthivel, was detained at Coimbatore International Airport after CISF personnel discovered a pistol and two live rounds in his luggage during screening. He was booked on an Indigo flight to Chennai. Sakthivel presented his original gun license and was released after verification by Peelamedu police.
