Delhi’s winter peak power demand may break record, likely over 6,300 MW

As Delhi’s power consumption continues to rise, the winter season is expected to see peak electricity demand surpassing 6,300 MW, a new seasonal high, according to forecasts from the State Load Dispatch Centre. This follows the record-breaking summer peak of 8,656 MW. Last winter, the peak was 5,816 MW.
