Sheriff's office: Man killed in Milam County home; suspect in custody

AUSTIN (KXAN) — One man is dead after a homicide in Milam County, the sheriff's office said Wednesday.

Milam County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a home on County Road 374 around 10 p.m. Tuesday for reports of a deceased man. Deputies found a victim inside the living room.

The sheriff's office identified the victim as 68-year-old Michael Donaldson Sr.

Officials said Donaldson's death was determined to be a homicide, and one suspect was arrested and in custody. The suspect's name will be released after magistration.
