IN PHOTOS: Filipinos mark Red Wednesday 2024

MANILA, Philippines – Several Christian churches, monuments, and buildings across the Philippines lit up in red on Wednesday, November 27, to take a stand against religious persecution.

The annual observance of Red Wednesday honors persecuted Christians worldwide. It began in 2016, initiated by the papal charity Aid to the Church in Need.
