UG students to soon get option to shorten, extend duration of degree courses: UGC chief Jagadesh Kumar

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has announced new regulations allowing undergraduate students to accelerate or extend their degree programs. Students can earn the same total credits in a shorter or longer timeframe, with adjustments to credits per semester. These degrees will hold equal value to standard-duration degrees for employment and academic pursuits.
