Man sentenced for 2023 shooting death in Travis County

TRAVIS COUNTY (KXAN) — A Pflugerville man was sentenced to 20 years in prison for the 2023 death of a man in Travis County.

Alian Davis pleaded guilty to murder and was sentenced Nov. 13 to 20 years in a Texas Department of Criminal Justice facility, according to court records. He remained in the Travis County Correctional Complex as of Wednesday.

Deputies responded to a call on Linville Ridge Lane on Jan. 13, 2023, after a ride-share driver reported a man approached their vehicle and "told her to leave because he had killed someone," according to the Travis County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies found a dead man with gunshot wounds inside a residence. The man was later identified as Theodore Harris-Arnold, 25, of Pflugerville.
