BEML gets contract worth Rs 2,501 crore from Chennai Metro

PSU BEML, previously Bharat Earth Movers Limited, has secured a Rs 2,501 crore contract from Chennai Metro Rail Limited. The project involves the design, manufacture, supply, testing, commissioning, personnel training, and 15 years of comprehensive maintenance for standard gauge metro rolling stock and depot machinery.
