Rappler Talk: Is a plastic pollution treaty finally in sight?

MANILA, Philippines – After the global summit in Azerbaijan comes another round of negotiations for a global treaty tackling plastic pollution.

Delegates from around the world flock to Busan, South Korea, for the plastic talks which seek to drastically cut plastic production through a legally binding agreement.

In this Rappler Talk, environment reporter Iya Gozum speaks with Marian Ledesma of Greenpeace Philippines on how the negotiations are faring in Busan midway through and what a strong treaty looks like.
