The Clintons Had an Awesome Time at the Eras Tour
Can you believe that after almost two years, we’re nearing the end of famous people talking about how awesome the Eras Tour was? Thankfully, we’re going out with some high-profile endorsements. Bill Clinton was on Live With Kelly and Mark on Monday gushing about how much fun he had at Taylor Swift’s show in Toronto this past weekend.
“I get it now,” the former president said. “I mean, I understand why she has such an impact on people and why a lot of these young girls are so captivated.” Clinton himself looked captivated in a video of him and Hillary enjoying “You Belong With Me” from their stadium suite.
“She’s not like a lot of people who do concerts,” Clinton continued. “She did three hours plus straight. I mean, straight through. She just kept on singing the songs and kept on doing it, which I think is a very respectful thing to do for the audience.” Categorizing the Eras Tour length as “respectful” sounds like something a dyed-in-the-wool Swiftie would say. Mr. President, what’s the handle of your stan account?!
The Clintons were there with their daughter Chelsea and a “crowd of kids” that included their granddaughter. Kelly Ripa asked Clinton if they tried to get him to pull some strings to get backstage. “Actually, they didn’t, and I probably couldn’t have,” he said, laughing. Backstage privileges are reserved for Travis Kelce and Prince William only.
