Two new restaurants opening in Catskill on Friday
CATSKILL, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- The village of Catskill will soon be home to two more restaurants. On Friday, Nov. 29, a pizzeria and a Mexican food restaurant will open their doors.
Both businesses announced their openings through Facebook posts on Monday. Stella's Pizza, 80 Maple Avenue, and Arianny's Casa Grande, 601 Main Street, will hold grand openings about one mile away from each other.
Stella's Pizzeria will open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., serving breakfast, lunch and dinner options, from pancakes and eggs, to pizza, sandwiches and dessert. Stella's Pizzeria also owns businesses in Hudson, Athens and Columbiaville.
"Happy to announce the time has come that we are opening Stella‘s pizzeria, bar, & restaurant in Catskill, New York," Stella's post stated.
Arianny's Casa Grande will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., serving a variety of traditional Mexican dishes. The restaurant owners also own two diners locally, the Plaza Diner in Hudson and the Ambrosia Diner in Catskill.
"As many of you may have heard, there’s a New Mexican restaurant opening up in Catskill located at 601 Main Street…. And the rumors are true! It’s our own Leo Martinez," the Plaza Diner posted. "Leo, his family, and his crew have been working hard for the last 5 months on renovations and making a menu for you all to enjoy. Make sure you give it a try! He looks forward to seeing you all there."
