As US ramps up nuclear power, uranium supplier to expand facility

OAK RIDGE, Tennessee: Centrus Energy announced a $60 million expansion at its facility in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, as part of efforts to boost domestic uranium enrichment and support the growing reliance on nuclear power in the United States.

The 440,000-square-foot facility manufactures and tests high-tech centrifuges that will be used at the company's enrichment site in Piketon, Ohio.
