Spent a little time winding up a Villa friend who is on his way home for the Juventus game. He says they are the first team in the second city. I reminded him that Blues are the oldest team to have been founded in Birmingham. His team were founded in a parish that wasn’t part of Birmingham until 1911. Little pleasures.
