Chennai power shutdown areas: These localities in city will see power cuts due to maintenance

Chennai Power Shutdown: Chennai is preparing for cyclone Fengal. The cyclone is expected to make landfall on Wednesday. A power outage is scheduled for several areas. The outage will last from 9 am to 2 pm. This is for maintenance work. The affected areas include New Washermenpet and Sothupakkam. The India Meteorological Department has issued alerts. Fishermen are advised to stay ashore.
