Karnataka plans Rs 650 crore hub for space, defence manufacturing

The information technology and biotechnology department said that the sunrise sector can create high-end jobs in the next decade. The state government also wants to be aggressive on defence electronics manufacturing, which will happen at the Aerospace Park situated in Devanahalli, Karnataka’s IT-BT minister, Priyank Kharge told ET.
