Man struck by NYPD vehicle driven by traffic agent in Queens: sources
JACKSON HEIGHTS, Queens (PIX11) – A man in his 50s was hit by an NYPD car driven by a traffic agent in Queens on Monday, sources told PIX11 News.
It happened near 35th Avenue and 82nd Street around 6:15 p.m. in Jackson Heights. The driver was making a left turn when he struck the man, who was crossing the street, according to authorities.
The victim was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst.
The driver remained at the scene, police said.
