Pennsylvania district attorney drops case against Elon Musk's MAGA voter lottery

District Attorney Larry Krasner of Philadelphia has announced that he is officially dropping the case against Donald Trump appointee Elon Musk and his super PAC, America PAC.

The New York Times reported the filing but Puck News' Teddy Schleifer posted a screen capture of it on X, showing that the district attorney asked that the case be "Discontinued and Ended as to all parties without prejudice, with all parties bearing their own costs."

Musk gave $1 million to people in Pennsylvania every day in the lead-up to Election Day in exchange for voters signing a petition claiming to be pro-Constitution. A state judge refused to dismiss the case, which claimed America PAC conducted an unlawful lottery.

The filing came after special counsel Jack Smith announced he would file motions to dismiss Trump's federal cases "without prejudice."
