Columbus pizzeria opens second central Ohio location
GRANDVIEW HEIGHTS, Ohio (WCMH) – A Columbus restaurant that was voted as having the best pizzas in the city for the past two years will soon open a second location, this one in Grandview Heights.
JT’s Pizza & Pub will open at 845 Goodale Blvd. on Friday. This will mark the pizzeria’s second location, with the first located at 2390 W. Granville Road in the Linworth neighborhood.
“This new spot is a culmination of years of hard work and dedication to perfecting our menu and culture,” founder Joe Hertnett said. “I’m proud of the team that has gotten us here and I’m excited to be a part of the Grandview neighborhood. We’ve got a seat saved for everyone at JT’s.”
Diners can expect the same menu as the original location. Along with classic and specialty pizzas, such as the chicken bacon ranch, the eatery serves calzones, sandwiches, chicken wings and salad. The restaurant was voted as having the best pizza in the city in 2023 and 2024 by the Facebook page Pizza Connoisseurs of Columbus, which has nearly 70,000 members.
In December, the restaurant will feature a specialty pie called the Crab Rangoon Pizza, which will be available exclusively at the Grandview Heights location. From Nov. 18 to 22, 10 random takeout orders at the original location will feature “golden tickets,” which will score the customer an invite to a preview party at the Grandview location ahead of its opening.
JT’s Pizza & Pub in Grandview Heights will be open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.
