The Ally Pally spectacle has provided some incredible legs of darts over the years and some sensational nine-dart finishes.

And players will be rewarded handsomely if they hit the stunning checkout.

Paddy Power will pay them a whopping £60,000 for every nine-dart finish they secure.

The Irish bookmakers will also give one of the lucky 3,300 fans in attendance a cool £60k.

But their generosity, and class, doesn’t stop there.

They’ll also donate an additional £60k to Prostate Cancer UK for every nine-darter.

The incredible bonus gesture was well received by darts fans, one of whom wrote on X: “This is a brilliant gesture.”

Another said: “Fantastic. About time a 9 darter got a proper reward.”

And another said: “That is class.”

Prostate Cancer UK also chimed in, writing: “We’re looking forward to a lifesaving championship.”

In addition to their sensational nine-darter bonus, Paddy Power, who donated £1million to Prostate Cancer UK last year, will donate an additional £1000 for every 180 thrown in the tournament.

Paddy Power said: “We’re buzzing to bring The BIGGER 180 to this year’s Paddy Power World Darts Championship.

“Last year’s campaign was an absolute triumph, raising over £1 million and proving just how powerful darts can be in making a difference.

“This time, we’re stepping it up with a £180,000 bonus for every nine-darter – split between Prostate Cancer UK, the players, and the fans who make Ally Pally magic.

“It’s darts, it’s drama, and it’s saving lives – what more could you ask for?”

The draw for the 2024 World Championship takes place at 4:30pm this afternoon.
