24th Passion for Speed 2025

For 2025 the Second round of the Passion for Speed will be moved to Red Star Raceway. There are two reasons for this. Firstly, the cost. The trip to Killarney has become very expensive and the response from up-country competitors has become far too much. Secondly, we are planning a different format for international competitors racing at Zwartkops in 2026. The initiatives which we are planning should enhance the profile of the Passion for Speed and stimulate the event/ series further.

For 2025 there will be International competitors with us but not the numbers of previous years. Historic racing worldwide has become intensive. There are many events so much so that competitors see January/ February as a “rest period.” There is now also the added competition of “Carne” deposits and costs which UK competitors are resisting.

The result of these issues and our parts delays is that we have to re-think the Passion for Speed and look at other alternatives. There are some exciting prospects.
